Much like websites such as HubPages or WordPress, Squidoo allows users to create pages of articles (called “Lenses” or “Squids”) that they can use to link information and make money.

The money is not normally earned from the article itself per se, but rather mostly from ads that link to the article. Google AdSense or a similar online affiliate administers most money-making ads.

Don’t expect to get rich using third-party links like AdSense, though, because, at best, the most you will probably earn is a few cents.

This pay-per-click advertising is not the best way to earn a living, but will add a few dollars here and there for your time. There are other ways to earn money using Squidoo easily.

I find that squidoo is a great testing ground for new niches, new markets and new keywords. you don’t have to launch a whole new website, you can drive your marketing efforts to your hub or your squidoo landing page.
